Various Artists (Bryz, Lukea, Constratti) – Edition 7 [Bread And Butter Recordings]
London-based imprint Bread And Butter Recordings announces its Edition 7 Various Artists compilation to hit the shelves of selected record stores worldwide on the 1st of September, this time featuring Bryz, Lukea and Constratti. The record returns to the label’s VA series after Silat Beksi‘s solo EP, pushing the boundaries of electronic music once more by uniting innovative talent and capturing a unique essence of minimal house.
Committed to releasing top-quality electronic music, the label was founded in 2018 by Max Frisina and so far showcased inspiring productions signed by artists like Guido Schneider, Clive Henry & Blind Minded, Rowlanz, DoubtingThomas, Direkt, Sublee, Vern, Piktor, Miroloja, Triptil, Herck, Macarie, Teluric, Costin Rp, Cosmjn, Giuliano Lomonte and Nu Zau.
Opening, “Behind Heaven’s Door” by Bryz lays out a hypnotic atmosphere carefully crafted with profound melodies, evolving textures, spacious breathing moments and a magical vocal sample that makes everything sound warm and deep.
On the flipside Lukea‘s “Euphoria” continues the journey with style featuring a thick bassline and dominant percussion. Here, the background chords elegantly intertwine with various effects and synth stabs as the main notes create a mystical rotation.
Closing, “To The Sky” by Constratti delivers an equally amazing sound loaded with dynamic layers, reverberating sharp tones, moving pads and an infectious rhythm, perfect for the dancefloor.
