After the successful launch of their limited vinyl-only Various Artists series earlier this year, Latvian imprint Micronica Records returns with the second volume showcasing four steaming cuts signed by Romanian artist Costin Rp, Ukrainian DJ and producer Yansima, Australian talent Venda and label head D I N alongside British underground player ckb.

The record definitely adds even more magic to the label’s activity which also includes organising memorable events and bringing forward digital gems in various formats. Among the collaborating artists, we find Silat Beksi, Lulla, Wyro, Kirik, Kame2, Minube, Lukea, Prajescu, Triptil, Petit Batou, Sebastian Eric, Nicolas Barnes, Herck, Vincent Casanova and half of Micronica, iOAN, to name just a small fraction of the full roster.

Each track on this 12″ stands out on its own, creating a rich and dynamic sonic atmosphere perfect for a complete experience when it comes to minimal techno and microhouse. When combined you get everything from solid grooves and basslines to deep soundscapes and dubby textures, making this 12″ a must-have for collectors and selectors alike.

On Side A Costin Rp’s “Kiss This” and Yansima’s “Jisula” pair up into an uplifting and twisted blend of four-to-the-floor techno rhythms and textures flavoured with potent minimalistic arrangements, carefully placed breakdowns and trippy modulations, while on the flip Venda’s “Underwater” dives deep into hypnotic rhythmic affairs best suited for late night moments and “Duby” by D I N & ckb completes the whole journey with style, bringing a swinging motion to the table infused with dubby chords and funky reverberations.
