Miroloja – Subatom EP [Sintope Vinyl Series]

Paris-based brothers Julian and Gianni Ripoli aka Miroloja recently announced “Subatom EP” to arrive soon via Romanian label Sintope Vinyl Series. The record features three fresh cuts that smoothly complement one another, creating an uplifting synergy perfect for the dancefloor while adding even more magic to the imprint’s vinyl catalogue which also features artists like Sammy W, Alex E, Rhadow, The Mekanism, Bodeler, Saenz, Remus, Barut, Lumieux, Gabriele Mancino, Aron and label-heads NTFO. The digital side of the story counts 80+ releases that deliver a diverse palette of underground electronic music, signed by artists from all around the world.

The French duo is well-known for making crowds swing while their discography includes collaborations with Normandy Records, Joule, Hubble Recordings and More Than Music. They also joined the Yoyaku family and Interwave agency, so expect even more musical flavours to be brought forward in the near future in their own distinct style.

Three tracks, two people, one story. There’s an organic narrative that connects everything here, a complete journey designed with great care and swift vision. The title track “Subatom” sets the pace, rolling with a warm thunderous rhythm infused with everything you need to start dancing in seconds. This framework explores powerful basslines, steaming drumming patterns and elegant glitch work that receive spacious and immersive breakdowns, as well as ever-evolving moods and grooves. “Soffiztic” and “Kodheurr” flow with the stream, going deeper and deeper into dub, so make sure this wax ends up in your collection, as it is really amazing. Highly recommended!
