Live-streamed 24th of July 2019, 6:00-8:00 pm, EEST time +3
It’s time to feed your hunger and curiosity for alternative music and art with a new media digital art project! As you probably know, for the past five years, every Friday, we invite you to listen to a new episode of feeder sound podcasts. This summer, we expand the multidisciplinary dimension of the project, adding a visual component. Each feeder sound LIVE–stream video will be a new and completely different experience. You can explore the universe of two artists from various fields, working side by side and complementing each other’s work.
Once a month, starting Wednesday 24th of July and ending Saturday 19th of October 2019, you can connect with your favourite artists and be part of the feeder.ro story.
ERPS (live painting)
All-day street. All-night legend. Graffiti in the city, since 1994. A real OG of the Romanian hip hop movement, ERPS stays true to his vision. Having filled the Romanian cities with Zmârliți or Erps tags, bombs and pieces, he travelled through Europe connecting with like-minded artists, which returned the visits and left awesome marks of their creativity in these lands, with great zest and defiance.
Recently, we‘ve been visiting the studio of legendary Romanian graffiti artist ERPS where we discovered a lot of canvases he painted recently.
Each year, with perfect timing and precision, Erps paints a piece at Street Delivery, always on the same wall. Gipsy Erps Wear is the name of the streetwear brand he launched a few years back, worn and appreciated by local rap MCs and DJs.
DRAGUTESKU (dj set)
Making his appearance on the mysterious local scene, Dragutesku is a discreet artist who lets the sounds speak for him. On various occasions, you listened to Dragutesku’s creations on feeder.ro, either in the EP reviews column or feeder sound section. In the past years, he produced exciting releases launched at Fapte Records, Tupiar Records, Masivarium, Perception Dub, Minim Records, Modeight, Parama, Unic, and is also the author of the first feeder sound disc. In 2016, we invited him to contribute with the episode 103 of the feeder sound podcast series, a record that hides feelings you want to come back to. Read the extended feeder insider interview with Dragutesku and find out more about his creative process, collaborations, plans and his label, titled DRG Series.
Dragutesku is the author of the very first feeder sound vinyl-only release, a white pressing titled “Suflet Prezent”, launched in January 2019 and distributed worldwide by Vinyl Future, which sold out in less than two months.
