exclusive premiere: Entoniu & Agape – Search [21th Street Records]

Italian duo Entoniu & Agape returns to 21th Street Records with a fresh material titled “Search EP” alongside Eveline Fink on remix duties. Designed with deep sounds and solid minimal grooves, the three-tracker is aimed at dimly lighted dancefloors worldwide, perfect to be played at peak-time moments or early morning afterhours.

We invite you to find out more about the duo’s releases on their own venture from our exclusive premieres and EP reviews of “Flower EP“, “Station EP” (2021 Revision), “Insanity EP“, “Hempatia EP“, “Fight EP“, “Too Drunks EP” and “City EP“, while our extended feeder insider interview will reveal more about their personal vision and goals.

“We like to express ourselves without the constraint of genres. If you look at our social networks you understand that we are not attached to the mainstream concept that the model of today’s society imposes on us, you can find music, our music.”

“Search” opens the EP with a low-slung sound dominated by spiralling effects, subtle glitched layers and ever-evolving background textures in focus. The syncopated beat creates a hypnotic rotation while slowly building tension for Eveline Fink‘s remix which takes the original to the “other side” by adding an extra punch to the percussion patterns and smooth dubby flavours. The swinging rhythm of “Phase” concludes the release with style, unleashing a raw minimalistic journey designed with a solid bassline, pumping 4/4 drumming, twisted textures and introspective breakdowns.
