After recently being our guests for episode 403 of our ongoing podcast series, we’re more than happy to present the next instalment in 21th Street Records‘ catalogue signed by the Italian duo Entoniu & Agape alongside 2Acid on remix duties. Titled “Horizon EP”, the material provides a breezy summer sound smoothly infused with minimal techno and deep tech influences perfect for the dancefloor.

Entoniu & Agape have steadily made a name for themselves, always dropping forward-thinking electronic music and twisted experiments while also reaching out to other musicians and collaborating with artists like Conclave, Alex Baciu, Simone Tagliabue, Robert Apetrei, Danilo Schneider, Eveline Fink, Radu Mirica, Marcelo Rosselot, Alex Fuente and 2Acid, among others.

Aside from their digital playground 21th Street Records, they’ve also published some of their productions with labels like Fame Game Recordings, Frucht, Salomon Records, Minordub, Tief Ltd, Binaural Arts, Conceptual, Tip Tap, Frucht, Zeitlos Music, Welter, Kootz Music and DubGestion, to name only a few.

Concluding the EP, “Second” brings forward an uptempo sound designed with swinging drumming patterns, a playful wobbling bassline and a hypnotic melody at its core. You may feel some dubby influences as well when the breakdowns happen so get ready to drift away.

The other original track “Sole” changes gears and dives deep into atmospheric dimensions while the beat plunges forward and delivers a mesmerising sonic affair that seems to render an image of waves and blue skies. 2Acid‘s remix picks up and delivers an uplifting reinterpretation, smoothly flavoured with psychedelic elements and driving arrangements that will make you want to dance in seconds.
