The 7th digital instalment brought forward by the Italian imprint WEorUS delivers three fresh and mesmerising tracks signed by French artist Romain Lucas Cebrian aka Roluce. Titled “Partisan Exchanges”. the EP elegantly complements the label’s discography, which includes timeless productions from artists like CL-ljud, Rush Arp, Simone Adinolfi, Hendriks Toth, Djosh, Kaitaro, Osvit, Andrea Ferlin, Plusculaar, Fabrizio Siano, Maurice Giovannini, Andi and one of the key figures behind the venture, Dragosh, delivered in both digital and vinyl-only formats.

Half of ROAR alongside Cédric Batret, Romain has been a central figure in the French underground electronic music scene and beyond for quite some time now. His performances and productions always inspire a lot of people and enjoy massive support around the world. Among the labels he has collaborated with so far, we find Melodeum, Florence, Rockets Audio, Podvodo, Tzinah and Aprapta Music.

“El Viejo Lavadero is a special track revealing my mystical and bewitching side which I transcribed with care and precision one very early morning. Created with methodical rhythms and complex offbeat atmospheres, this track was designed to close your eyes and travel into a universe… how to say… a parallel universe, why not?”

While “Poțiune” opens the EP with a wobbling sound flavoured with twisted effects, eerie atmospheres and unpredictable patterns, our featured track for today “El Viejo Lavadero” drops a solid minimal groove perfect for the dancefloor while keeping to the energy of the first track. Focused on intense drumming arrangements and carefully crafted breakdowns, the track is definitely unique in terms of production, as numerous complementary layers provide a truly immersive experience.

Closing, “Shake A Leg” switches gears and brings forward a bouncy vibe infused with subtle electro touches and swinging funky elements, making this release a must-have for collectors, selectors and enthusiasts alike.
