Constratti, Silat Beksi – De-a Rasu Plansu [Eagervision Records]

For its third vinyl instalment, British imprint Eagervision Records introduces to its audience a young DJ and producer from the land of modern minimal par excellence, Romania, the talented Daniel Istrati aka Constratti. The London-based label releases this record in a moment where the artist’s career feels like it’s about to skyrocket, combining three next level original cuts with a remix by Silat Beksi, an underground hero that definitely needs no introduction. Titled “De-a Rasu Plansu”, this 12″ delivers a unique dancefloor-oriented sound that will surely withstand the test of time. Early support arrives from artists like Arapu, Janeret, Sepp, Miroloja, VincentIulian, Archie Hamilton and others.

Side A opens with the title track “De-a Rasu Plansu”, which, just like its Romanian translation implies, provides a double-edged vibration, twisting and turning at every breakdown while dropping a positive uplifting minimal and progressive sound. Silat Beksi‘s reinterpretation takes the tempo down a notch and dives deep into dubby dimensions empowered by mysterious vocal samples and spacious background textures.

On the B-Side we first find “Parallax” which focuses on a trippy rotation of its layers while keeping it morphing at around 126 BPM and “Cloud 9” which seems to take on the momentum and go way beyond, into cosmic and energetic vibrations at the same time. A highly recommended 12″ for selectors, collectors and modern electronic music enthusiasts alike!
