The Sun is shining again brightly in the sky and this week’s episode of feeder sound provides just the right kind of music you want to hear playing in the background! Enjoy! ☀
Based in Kiev, Ukraine, Ganin is a versatile artist that likes to surprise with his selections, always delivering engaging and groovy electronic dance music with a twist. From deep and minimalistic rhythms to more pumping house and techno-infused cuts, he draws influence from a variety of genres while adding a personal touch. Blending in his own edits and re-interpretations of tracks he likes, his sets bring forward a distinct sound and unfold as unique experiences every time he performs.
Ganin took part in all the parties organised by the Ukrainian netlabel Deeplimit led by Andrey Palash and Pavel Tkachenko and shared the decks with artists like TC Studio, Polarize, Giovanni Verrina, Livio & Roby, Ame, Nastia, Praslea, Dixon, Mike Shannon, Dave DK, Cabanne and Patrick Chardronnet, to name only a few. He played at the Cocoon Heroes and Soul Night party series and in the recent past, he was also a resident at RTS.FM and Boom Boom Boom nightclub in Kiev. At the moment he works with River Port Club and takes time to explore music production, making his own tracks and edits.
“There are many EDITS transformed by me, so this mix is made from different Romanian tracks created by different producers but edited by myself. Also, in the first part of the mix, I play 3-4 tracks together at the same time, as usual. I always make experiments like this, I don’t really like to play just the pure track because I get bored fast and I always search for rich sounds.” – Ganin
feeder sound 211 mixed by Ganin provides a carefully crafted groove, designed with one-of-a-kind sounds and rhythms. The recording flows steadily and builds tension from time to time through seamless transitions from deeper techno to growling percussive cuts and solid minimal. There are some amazing edits on Ion Ludwig, Piktor and Kearun elegantly featured in the selection as well, so get ready to start your weekend with proper electronic music vibrations!
