The freshly founded Romanian record label Subsdance welcomes Unisson for its vinyl debut release alongside VincentIulian on remix duties. Titled “All That Jazz”, the EP delivers a solid minimal sound flavoured with subtle breakbeat and jazz influences perfect for peak-time moments as well as the afterhours at any party. The mastering is signed by Vlad Caia and the artwork by Cassia Vila.

The duo has been riding the waves lately, dispatching several vinyl-only and digital materials on their own UNS Records, Storytellers and our feeder sound label in the form of “Neverending Story EP” of which you can still find a few copies on selected record shops worldwide. For this 12″, Alex and Nicolae invite Vincențiu to deliver a taste of his fingerprint sound thus completing the record with style and assuring a proper launch for the new local imprint.

While the original take on the title track “All That Jazz” drops a steaming combination of breakbeat and twisted background textures powered by lush breakdowns focused on the rumbling drumming patterns, VincentIulian‘s reinterpretation closes the EP with a warm and steady-paced sound, taking all the layers into a chilled and sparkling dimension perfect for laid-back moments, the early morning hours or afternoon sessions.

The other two tracks, “Underline This” and “Barb Eq” deliver an equally inspiring sound, going from low-slung grooves to breezy sonic affairs, carefully crafted with solid arrangements, ever-evolving pads, jazzy influences and microhouse chords ready to take dancefloors by storm at any given moment. A highly recommended release right here for collectors, selectors and electronic music enthusiasts alike!
