feeder sound exclusive premiere: VincentIulian – Multi more
Chiricheș Vincențiu Iulian aka VincentIulian drops his latest solo album “Multimore” in digital format on his official Bandcamp page, bringing forward an intricate combination of minimal techno aesthetics and subtle classical influences that create an immersive sonic affair.
With a good amount of gigs all around the world, VincentIulian always finds time to fully express himself in the studio, creating timeless compositions in his own distinct style. His latest releases include a collaborative EP with Eddie H and Alex Mitroi, one with Kivva, another independent digital delight titled “Xyz” as well as two vinyl-only EPs on Vivus Records and OGE White. These only add up to an amazing discography which also includes working with other well-known artists and labels like Rhanamh, Pathway Traxx, Subtil Records, Eastenderz, Uvar, Atipic, Liniar, Moment and Metereze, among others.
“The inspiration started from the existing musical background and the influence of classical jazz and experimental pieces resulting in a minimal, techno approach. The synth part, used as background, is sung live as a discrete melancholic atmosphere during the flow of the rhythm and the insertion of acoustic drum elements combined with a modulated bass line. Altogether, building tension at the end of measures with accents, step inserts and increasing velocity.”

Opening the album, “Starvler” lays out a breezy sound designed with warm dubby chords and a steady-paced rhythm perfect for hot summer days. Expect the arrangements to flow into an organic amalgamation with enough drive to make anyone start moving their body in seconds. Following, our featured track for today “Multi more” continues the journey with style, delivering a tension-building tool focused on its percussion layers and shuffling complementary elements that engage in an entrancing dance of sounds.
Next up, “Outuo” exhibits an uplifting groove constructed with numerous thrilling instrumental insertions and a twisted approach to the drumming patterns while “Nana” dives deep into introspective states of mind as the main synth and percussive sequences take influence from breaks and IDM music while keeping to the minimalistic approach chosen for this release.
