The next vinyl-only instalment coming from the Swiss imprint Fantastic Friends features four amazing tracks signed by Christian Burkhardt, Octave, Mihai Popoviciu and label head Nicolas Duvoisin in the form of “Rocket” VA. The record surely adds even more magic to the outlet’s discography which counts over 100 releases in both vinyl and digital formats and features artists from all over the world.

Christian Burkhardt opens Side A with “Buto”, an uplifting deep house groove smoothly seasoned with a solid bassline, swinging drumming patterns, jazzy pads and carefully placed breakdowns. Following, “The Message” by Octave delivers a romantic and hypnotic ballad built upon lush atmospheric background textures while the prominent percussion elements drop an uptempo sonic affair to go with.
On the flip we first find Nicolas Duvoisin‘s “Kempin”, a powerful tool that calls for dancing. Here, the highly modulated vocal samples are combined with an exquisite progression of all the layers, creating a hypnotic rotation that can make anyone start moving their body in seconds. Closing, “Fast Forward” from Mihai Popoviciu drops an incandescent and pumping sound, perfectly calibrated for the dancefloor, so make sure you save this record for your collection as we highly recommend it.
