Aron returns to his Dinghy, smoothly sailing on mind-bending minimal techno and ambient soundwaves on the 3rd release coming from his label. DINGHY003 delivers two club-ready tracks and an introspective ending mastered by Mike Grinser at Manmade Mastering studios in Berlin while the artwork is signed by Jesse Wensing.
With support from artists like Priku, Raresh, Barac, r.hitect, Remus, Romar, NTFO, Janeret, Alci and The Mountain People, among others, Aron‘s previous DINGHY001 and DINGHY002 records have definitely proven to be solid weapons for dancefloors worldwide, taking the Swiss artist to the international spotlight. Nowadays, you can enjoy his constant performances at The Hidden Club in Solothurn or at the Supermarket Club in Zurich while also exploring the diversity of his works dispatched via labels like Aku, Bleu Ciel, Aimed, Sintope Vinyl Series, Berg Audio, Abartik and Micro Orbit Records.
Side A opens with “Say That”, a swinging composition designed with a centrepiece vocal sample, swinging drumming patterns, a solid wobbling bassline and lush breakdowns. The intriguing arrangement of all the layers is what makes this cut special, steadily evolving into a driving rhythm perfect for peak time moments at any party.
On the flip we first find “I Am Yours” diving deep into solid minimalistic patterns and laying out an uplifting sonic journey perfect for summer selections. The glitched vocals here call for a dance while transmitting a subtle emotional message as the beat and background textures create a hypnotic rotation set at 126 bpm. Closing the EP, “Ultra Violet Seascapes” switches gears and tempo, delivering an immersive ambient soundscape perfect for relaxation and introspection. Just visualise the waves and the clear blue sky and drift away.
