Swiss record label L.E.T. Music (Les Enfants Terribles) announces the next instalment in the catalogue to arrive soon featuring Aline and Hatari on “Adjust The Constant”. The split EP delivers two tracks from each artist that smoothly complement one another and create a driving journey flavoured with creative and timeless sounds. Today we’re excited to hear Hatari’s “Corazon” exclusively on our soundcloud channel and to also find out more about the artists and the EP.

From playing live music to mind-bending vinyl sets, Hatari is a prolific Swiss-Brazilian artist who always delivers top-notch grooves. DJ, live performer, producer and sound designer, she has been developing a rich and polymorphous universe for more than ten years now, moving with finesse between dancefloors, conceptual productions and contemporary art. Influenced by hip-hop, drum’n’bass, Detroit techno, house and African music, she differentiates herself through a rich and surprising sound palette.

“Corazon is a groovy tale told with shuffling jazzy hats and a deep gliding bassline. The mood starts going up with rusty dub chords and dreamy back vocals. The track then pivots with a surprising synth which comes as a screaming call for a summer party.”

The steady-paced rhythm and the subtle dubby vibe of “Corazon” elegantly combine with the more dynamic aspects of “La Route De Soir”, creating a distinct acoustic contrast that works very well. Here, the drums are more punchy and the background textures more quirky, closing the EP on a vibrant note and concluding the journey started with Aline’s tracks with style.

Zurich-based Aline has a fine sense for the finesse of electronic music. The DJ and producer always goes one step further, giving her sound a unique and multifaceted style. Influenced by minimalist patterns and broken beats, she combines simplicity and complexity to create a symbiotic soundscape.

Her two tracks here “Nova Struggle” and “The Age Of Unpleasent Contemporaries” radiate solid minimal techno, breaks and electro vibes, having creative differences in terms of arrangement and composition. One thing remains in focus on both and that is the bassline.
