David Agrella – MODULO 02 incl. Baby Ford, GNMR, NDR Remixes [Agrellomatica Records (AGR)]

Agrellomatica Records has put together a superb new remix package of David Agrella’s ‘Modulo’ which was originally released on Electronica Romana sublabel Meadowlark in 2007. 

Up first is the one and only minimal legend Baby Ford who flips it in to a slick and deep cut with spooky and moody pads up top. It’s perfect late night tackle then David Agrella offers his own rework, layering in warm and flappy drums and hissing hi hats over the snappy beats. Goa Club resident and Dubblack founder Gianmaria Coccoluto aka GNMR is next and he brings some heavier grooves and layers in freaky sound effects that occupy the mind. Modulo (NDR Remix) closes down with some whispy pads and a steamy jungle atmosphere over the deep and snaking drums. 

A superb package from all.
