Alexi Delano drops eclectic deep techno EP ‘Secret Drones’ via Suleiman.

Alexi Delano is a highly respected techno and deep tech producer who has been releasing music since the ‘90s, and his latest release comes via Canadian record label Suleiman.

‘Secret Drones’ is a three-track deep techno release that covers a range of styles including trippy, tribal and hypnotic. All of the tracks are expertly produced and showcase why Alexi Delano has maintained a career lasting nearly three decades.

This is the first time he has featured on Suleiman, adding the label to an impressive back catalogue that includes music on influential record labels ranging from Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8 to Seth Troxler’s Visionquest.

“No Show” kickstarts the release with a spaced-out groove that has raw sound design consisting of a wonky bass and fluttering lead synth. The title track “Secret Drones” has building synth chords fused with thrashing hi-hats and a thumping kick drum. “Work” boxes off the release with flowing upbeat percussion and a sparkling melody that combine to deliver an energetic groove tailored for the dance floor.
