In the labyrinthine landscape of underground electronic music, FAFO Records proudly introduces its latest addition to the fold. Hailing from the vibrant Spanish region of Galicia and with a musical journey spanning over 15 years, Chech brings a wealth of experience and creativity to his debut vinyl imprint on the label.

The EP features two original tracks, “Regular Guy” and “Eternal Youth“, each offering a distinct exploration into the depths of Chech’s musical universe. Joining Chech on the B-side are two distinguished DJ and producers Reboot and Niko Maxen, whose reinterpretations add further depth and dimension to the EP.

The outstanding Reboot remix of “Regular Guy” is available in full length on the feeder sound premiere column. A mesmerising and dynamic track that immerses the listeners in a world of powerful basslines and suspenseful undertones.

Niko Maxen infuses new energy and creativity with his unique takes on “Eternal Youth“, offering fresh perspectives on the already captivating soundscapes.

Chech’s musical journey is one defined by diversity and innovation. As a co-owner of Never Is Eternal and his label CH:CH, he has curated distinct artists rooted in Minimal, while drawing inspiration from a myriad of influences including jazz, funk, and beyond. His releases on Zebra Rec. and Rockets Audio have garnered widespread acclaim, while his remixes for artists like Enzo Leep, Vern, Direkt, Techu or Pheek earned praise from Trommel and feeder.ro.

A true nomad of the electronic music circuit, Chech’s performances have seen him share stages with Hernan Cattaneo, Peggy Gou, Alex Font and David Gtronic, among others.

“In the first Regular Guy I have made an excerpt of dialogue from the film “An Exemplary Man” giving it a sound with a manifest feeling in the face of injustice, based on the internal strength of the character. The sound of this track has a powerful bass that tries to add suspense and consistency to the message, giving the result of the minimal sound transporting you to the moment, taking a journey through emotions.

The second Eternal Youth shows an appealing sound based on eternal youth, with percussive sounds and vocal effects, which together with snares, atmospheres and the play of highs, generate this entire movement with an underground and vivid essence.“
