feeder sound exclusive premiere: Matpri & Saktu – Vidimo [Saktu]
Russian artists Andrey Sorozhkin aka Matpri and Aleksandr “Sasha” Tsyrin aka Saktu join forces for “Vidimo Nevidimo”, a stunning three-tracker designed with uplifting microhouse arrangements and warped effects. The material is the fourth vinyl-only instalment to arrive from Saktu’s eponymous venture, which functions as a personal playground for the artist as well as a sublabel of Heisenberg Records based in Saint-Petersburg.
Saktu is well-known in the international scene for his activity as a DJ as well as for his releases with Rawax, Minim Records, Enough! Music, Mobilee, Kina Music, Oblack Label and Ogni Tapes, a project which he manages alongside Dave Vega and Tobi Neumann. For this EP he invites Matpri to deliver a taste of his own vision on minimal music and the collaboration sure delivers some sweet house-infused vibes. A resident at the famous Stackenschneider Club and owner of Prosaic Music, Andrey has also worked with Hoarder, Slowdy Mowdy, Deep In You Music, Dwaal and Wellness Records.
💥 Adjust the volume of your speakers and let’s get down with “Vidimo” exclusively on feeder sound:
The track opens the EP with a prominent drumming pattern, a wobbling bassline and sufficient energy to render this stripped-down composition perfect for intense dancing. The build-ups and breakdowns create an organic journey while the rotating background pads and chords become truly hypnotic as the record spins. The other two tracks are equally enjoyable, maintaining the tempo and introducing complex phased arrangements, glitched microlayers and eerie bleeping structures. Definitely a collectable for microhouse lovers, collectors and selectors alike!
