feeder EP review of Arapu – Endz022 [Eastenderz]
The latest release from London based label Eastenderz is going to be pressed in a limited edition and you can already pre-order your copy. Run by East End Dubs from London, the Eastenderz record label is doing a remarkable effort releasing in just a few years works from Lizz, Priku, Doubtingthomas, Wickham, Viceversa and recently a double 12″ Various Artists compilation featuring established artists that have worked with the record label before. Staying true to its techy, minimalistic and deep sound, Eastenderz returns with Endz022 EP produced by Romanian artist Arapu.
For Arapu, producing music is a feeling that may start in the club, but it never seems to end there. His discography includes a wide range of Pressure Traxx, Vinyl Club Rec, Te Iubesc Rec, Vant Rec, Movida Rec, Memoria Ltd, Midi Rec and CrazyJack. In 2015, he started his own label Liniar where he released his own creations alongside Priku and VincentIulian.
This vinyl-only EP produced by Arapu is once again showcasing exquisite sounds to the electronic music scene worldwide. A-side is a dexterous, catchy groover track called Untitled #1, while B-side gets into a twitchier headspace for the seriously locked-in freakout crew with Untitled #2. All finely chiseled drums built with the DJ in mind.
By the way, if you are in Antwerp on 29 July you can join the release party and get to hear Arapu playing with East End Dubs. Keep an eye on this.
This is a well-defined record for parties and wax selectors & collectors. Hear the snippets and pre-order copy at deejay.de
