Helsinki-based venture The Sound Collective returns with an exquisite Various Artists compilation featuring artists from Finland and Romania, all riding the smooth soundwaves of modern underground electronic music. With “Bassumflat”, Boske surely delivers the vibes, bringing forward an uplifting and highly melodic composition perfect for peak time moments at any party. Here, the warm meandering chords elegantly complement the crystalline synth patterns and the four-to-the-floor drumming arrangements while the breakdowns are carefully placed in order to generate more tension.
The other tracks are equally engaging and connected, packing a serious dose of downtempo, deep house, microhouse, minimal techno, deep techno dub, breakbeat and experimental sonic affairs altogether. From thundering sounds to spaced-out structures, expect an immersive release showcasing an inspiring connection.
