Australian label Fafo Records returns to its digital catalogue with “Frequencies and Vibrations EP” signed by Ukrainian artist Kame2, showcasing three fresh tracks perfect for the dancefloor. Launched in 2020, the imprint enjoys an extended catalogue, having released over 35 albums in both digital and vinyl formats, featuring artists like Giorgio Robles, Esteban Moraga, Felipe Martinez, Lascu, Baban, Herman Saiz, Nektar Agu, Fardin Ameri, Cirkel Square, Camilo Gil & Øne+1, among many others.

Kame2 is a young and progressive artist from the southern part of Ukraine who prefers minimal techno and microhouse styles. In his tracks, you can hear leading analogue instruments carefully mixed with fascinating atmospheres and textures, sounds that have become recognisable and every lover of minimal music can give their respect to. Throughout time he collaborated with labels like Intelligent Sound Records, Conceptual, Frucht, Scriptum, Micronica, Engineer Records, Dushe Label and Mood 24 Records.

“Soulmate” delivers a warm vibration powered by a driving yet steady-paced rhythm elegantly complemented by weaving synth melodies and morphing background textures that constantly evolve into various hypnotic patterns. A sense of inner peace is transmitted through the frequency spectrum as well.

The title track “Frequencies and Vibrations” opens the material with equally engaging sounds. Here the drumming has more swing, the vocal cuts add an extra layer of magic to the whole journey and the groovy knob turns smoothly balance out with the meandering pads. The closing track “Surrealism” pushes the tempo more, dropping thumping drums, distorted vocals and eerie atmospheres over the relentless percussion loops.
