Tripmastaz Enterprises – Shushu EP [Respect The Craft Enterprises]

Coming from the versatile and relentless Russian artist Tripmastaz, the new sublabel Respect The Craft Enterprises launches with “Shushu EP”, an introduction to the artist’s Tripmastaz Enterprises alias focused on his more minimalist and experimental approach to artistic searching. As he puts it down: “Music became my love, my life, then therapy”. This record has been patiently brewed in different studios in different countries over the past 5 years, soaking in personal moments and emotions, until it’s been finally mixed and mastered at Tripmastering in Berlin and felt ready to be released.

“Hate Is Just The Opposite Of Love” spirals through the A-Side with style, revealing an organic and meandering sonic journey powered by uplifting drumming patterns, deep and resonant textures and effects, a hypnotic favour of the artist’s distinct style and trippy breakdowns.

Side B opens with the trembling vibes of the title track “Shushu” dubbed “The Spirit Of House” dropping a driving classic house rhythm infused with inspiring vocal samples, warm chords and soulful funk music influences while “Jazzyjam” closes the EP with an electrifying vibe showcasing prominent drumming patterns elegantly intertwined with dreamy piano melodies that definitely call out for a dance.
