For this episode of our ongoing podcast series, we invite Swiss artist Aline to deliver those special weekend vibes.

Based in Zurich, Aline has a fine sense for electronic music rhythms and textures, always giving her sound a unique and multifaceted style. Influenced by minimalist patterns and broken beats, she combines simplicity and complexity in order to create a symbiotic soundscape. Nowadays, she’s a resident DJ and producer at L.E.T Music, the editor-in-chief of ubwg.ch music magazine and a dedicated curator for various art and cultural projects in electronic music.

With her talent, Aline has already played gigs in renowned clubs such as Elysia in Basel, Supermarket in Zurich, Folklor in Lausanne and Sumahan in Istanbul while releasing some of her works independently via Bandcamp, in collaboration with Hatari for L.E.T Music and via her own label The Pluto Question or shortly TPQ. Here, the first release offers one original cut from herself and two remixes by Dinghy Record’s head chef Aron and Skiclub Toggenburg‘s Tillmann Ostendarp.

“I like to break up structures and combine broken beats with minimalistic 4/4 sounds. I think my feeder podcast reflects this preference quite well.”

Aline

feeder sound 415 mixed by Aline delivers a solid dose of minimal techno, microhouse and breaks elegantly flavoured with various shades of experimental and psychedelic sounds. You can hear some of her own tracks, others from friends as well as trippy and driving hidden gems. Enjoy with the volume up!
