A sunny weekend is announced ahead and the best way to put yourself into a happy mood is to get down with some pumping music. Our guest for this episode of the feeder sound podcast series, UK-based selector Bunny, drops some serious minimal vibes so it’s time to get the party started!
Birmingham-based DJ and producer Bunny started exploring underground electronic music almost ten years ago, constantly gaining experience by playing across the West Midlands and further afield. Throughout time, he shared the decks with artists like Dudley Strangeways, Pat Ondebaak, Ernest, Jack Wickham, Cally, Dorian Paic, Cristi Cons, Arapu, and Hatfield Bros, among others. Bunny also performed in Romania at the Gazette Club in Cluj-Napoca back in 2018, while in the UK he’s a resident at the local Rainbow Venues, Social Underground and Penda events.
Last year, under his CWC (Cold Water Cuts) alias, he released a very limited lathe cut vinyl while a second one is announced for late 2020. The tracks are also available through Bandcamp, while others have been published with Leftback Records, the notorious Nottingham-based crew whom he joined in 2016. Recently, his love for stripped-down rhythms also brought him on the line-up at the Internal Connections Part 2 live streaming event which took place between the 18th and 19th of July. Adjust the volume of your speakers and enjoy his set recorded during the online transmission.
feeder sound 277 mixed by Bunny will take into a hypnotic ride through various shades of minimal, from the very first cut to the last. The selection is flavoured with precise rhythmic variations, eerie textures, swinging drums and solid basslines, all merging into a fluid and steady-paced sound.
