Pete Sabo and Bakka (BR) remix Ece Ekren for Zatar Music
Ece Ekren’s powerful statement I Feel You was just released on Phonique’s new label Zatar Music, and has been receiving a lot of love from across the board. Here, we are treated to three remixes that take the track in new directions.
Ece Ekren is a producer, singer and songwriter originally from Istanbul and now residing in Berlin. Her rise has been meteoric over the past few years, and with good reason – her feel for melding esoteric melodies and instrumentation to house and techno grooves has seen her win many fans.
Pete Sabo’s treatment builds on the track’s tension and uncovers a dancefloor bomb in waiting.
The release features two remixes by Bakka (BR) – the first adds a funky breakbeat, bringing a whole new dimension to the track’s glorious melancholia, and the second which is a stripped down affair that dials in on the tracks’ innate, ethereal groove.
