Leveldva’s Chillrave music has captivated me. It took them a year to create this new compilation, and during that time, they travelled the world in search of the perfect sounds. They literally crossed the jungles of the South American desert, explored the cellars of Berlin, cycled the red-green roads of Amsterdam, conquered the sold out system on a stand-up boat in New York, jumped over Mexican potholes while huddling in tiny bars in Istanbul and powdered their faces in the lowlands of the Nevada lakes. All this in pursuit of a set of sounds that invites us into a perfectly round dance.
In the music scene of Leveldva, I have discovered a secret of the mermaids about the journey. However, I must be careful when immersing myself in this music, as it could trap me forever.
