Back in 2021, Baltimore House legend Teddy Douglas paid homage to his musical heroes, Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, with his highly acclaimed album of reworks and remixes titled, ‘Baltimore Philadelphia International’. Now he’s back with another passion project, ‘Tribute To Q’! Teddy and his musical friends have lovingly recrafted 4 Quincy Jones classics – ‘Burning Up’, ‘Bedtime Story’, ‘Ai No Corida’ and ‘Betcha Wouldn’t Hurt Me’, on a stunning EP of tastefully re-imagined songs written by Teddy’s idol. Propelling these masterpieces on to today’s dance floors with a feast of Disco, Soul, Latin and Soulful House grooves, ‘Tribute To Q’ is a fantastic homage to one of the true musical masters.
