Soulful House

Benirrás Beach Club, the duo of Jay Benirrás and Matt Capone, open their Salt & Sand label with a release that feels like pure summer. Their debut single ‘Garlands (made us do it)’ brings sun‑kissed Balearic warmth, lifted further by Tommy Jules, whose soulful vocal delivery adds emotional depth and a touch of warm nostalgia. The track nods affectionately to the classic Ibizan workers’ party era, weaving guitar textures, rolling percussion and memories of Kanya and Garlands into a smooth pool‑side groove. Richard Earnshaw adds his refined house touch with a chic, sundown‑ready version, while SILAS (UK) closes the package with bright percussive energy and irresistible sax lines. Now, where’s that Pina Colada!?..
