Description
We are excited to be able to offer for sale an original painting by Romanian graffiti artist AEUL. The artwork, titled Lacrima Dorinței (The Tear of the Wish), is done in mixed medium, protected with a high gloss lacquer layer, on a 50 x 40 cm stretched cotton canvas. The work is completed in 2020.
However, there is more to this work than it first meets the eye. On the back of the canvas, you will discover a little illustrated story featuring an introspective and rather confused piggie-dog, whose thoughts wander off on a balloon holding up a question mark, joined by the words “What does my soul feel when I am upset?”, and continuing in the next thought bubble, where the piggie comments “I can’t speak any human language, but I think cabbage rolls are created by Romanians”. Below this little narrative, you can see the artist’s signature.
The original artwork comes with an authenticity certificate and it is signed by the artist.

About AEUL
If the Romanian graffiti community would have a key-symbol, then surely it would be the piggy-dog created by AEUL. Present uptown and downtown, on the streets and on the main road, the piggy established itself a real reputation on the urban scene.
