Robert Obert is an urban artist with a background in graphics, known for his signature cyberpunk visual style. His work explores postmodern themes, reflecting social and political realities while encouraging introspection, critical thinking, and stepping outside the comfort zone. His art addresses topics such as climate change, social inequalities, systemic dysfunction, and the subconscious, expressed through comics, murals, illustrations, and mixed media—sometimes even sculpture.
Active across Romania, Europe, and the United States, Obert has participated in both solo and group exhibitions, as well as street art interventions in major cities such as Bucharest, Cluj, Timișoara, New York City, Portland, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Berlin, Florence, London, Luxembourg, Prague, Paris, Porto, and Sofia.
He is the creator of The Urban Prophecy comic book and its various adaptations, including street art and mural interventions.
