Popescu – The head
A3 digital print, framed by the artist, 40 x 50 cm black frame*
This framed print by Popescu presents a surreal, comic-book–inflected figure suspended between heroism and absurdity. At the center stands a muscular, almost mythic body, draped in a short cape, yet crowned with an oversized, radiant spherical head that emits beams of light. The result is deliberately dissonant: strength without identity, power without a face.
