Description
Ohboy – Bomb VI (orange), 2025
spray paint and marker on 280 gsm canvas panel, 40 x 30 cm, signed
Bomb VI (orange) expands the series both in scale and chromatic range, introducing a layered composition built around warm, saturated tones. Overlapping orange, amber, and brown forms accumulate across the surface, creating a dense rhythm of inflated shapes and directional flow. Marker lines cut through the sprayed fields, adding structure and tempo while preserving the immediacy of the gesture.
The work emphasises repetition and variation, with the letterform dissolving into a sequence of pulses rather than a single readable unit. Rooted in bombing logic yet refined through studio execution, Bomb VI reads as a controlled overflow—an energetic system held in balance by line, color, and surface tension.
