Description
LBWS Cat – battle cat embroidered patch
Ø 9,5 cm, velcro backing, khaki green
This embroidered patch features the “Battle Cat” character by LBWS Cat, rendered in a compact circular format. Executed in khaki green tones and finished with a velcro backing, the patch references military insignia and tactical aesthetics while retaining the artist’s distinctive graphic style. The central cat figure – alert, frontal, and framed like an emblem – combines humor and defiance, playing with symbols of strength, resilience, and identity. The Cyrillic text reinforces the character’s cultural and political undertones, grounding the work in the artist’s background and lived context.
Designed to be worn or displayed, the patch functions both as an accessory and as a small-format graphic statement. Created by Ukrainian artist LBWS Cat, now based in Bucharest, it reflects a practice that merges street art, illustration, and contemporary visual commentary.
