Aeul„Graffiti Art”, spray paint and acrylic on canvas, 60 x 20 cm, 2024

The feeder.ro online gallery expands its street art collection with new charming artwork by Aeul. The Graffiti Artcanvas was painted in 2024 in Romania.

Painted in 2024, “Graffiti art” is a 60 × 20 cm original canvas by Romanian graffiti writer Aeul that showcases a lesser-seen but essential side of his practice: lettering. Executed with spray paint and acrylics, the work steps away from his widely recognised piggy/dog character and returns to the foundations of graffiti culture, where name, form, and style take centre stage.

Instead of signing simply as Aeul, the artist uses the extended tag “Aeuler”, a choice deeply rooted in graffiti tradition, where writers often expand or adapt their names to explore rhythm, balance, and complexity within the letter structure. The composition flows horizontally, with interlocking forms, sharp angles, and fluid curves, revealing a dynamic sense of movement and control.

A vivid gradient background transitions through warm and cool tones, amplifying the layered lettering and enhancing depth and contrast. Bold outlines, internal patterns, and colour accents give each letter its own presence while maintaining a cohesive visual rhythm across the canvas.

This piece highlights Aeul’s technical precision and deep connection to graffiti’s core language, offering collectors a rare glimpse into the lettering practice that underpins his broader visual universe.

About AEUL

If the Romanian graffiti community had a key symbol, then surely it would be the piggy-dog created by AEUL. Present uptown and downtown, on the streets and on the main road, the piggy established itself a real reputation on the urban scene. I don’t think anyone counted them (e.n. the characters), I lost track around 500. Some disappear, some show up…” – AEUL
