Animae launches Buddha EP by unknown duo Randaru, with an amazing rework from Vid

A full year hasn’t gone by since German label Animae presented its first release produced by founder Fabrizio Sala, featuring a remix from Ada Kaleh. Now they are preparing the launch of catalogue number 005, titled Buddha and limited to 200 copies. The opening track, spanning the entire side A, is produced by the elusive duo Randaru, whose identity is unknown. Side B features a 13 minutes melancholia-inducing rework from Vid. Buddha EP suggests two different revelations or states of bliss. The first track offers a path through pulsating rhythm and whimsical effects with a soothing, uplifting energy. Vid’s mix of Buddha goes into that moody, nostalgic atmosphere producing a trippy, deeply introspective space where you can lose your body to dance and tune into yourself.
