UTMOST GOOD NEGLIGENCE/ Iulian Cristea @ Arthalle Gallery
Arthalle Gallery are plăcerea de a vă invita la vernisajul expoziţiei UTMOST GOOD NEGLIGENCE cu lucrări semnate Iulian Cristea. Artistul va fi prezent.
Vernisajul expoziţiei va avea loc pe 7 februarie 2020, între 19.00 şi 21.00, la Arthalle Gallery, str. General Constantin Budişteanu nr. 10, sector 1, 010774, Bucureşti, România.
Perioada: 7 februarie 2020 – 26 februarie 2020.
Se spune că singurul lucru care nu se schimbă este schimbarea. Putem fi ținuți in loc de lucruri din trecut, de oameni, de momente, de planuri viitoare sau de visuri ale prezentului, dar de fapt înotăm prin valurile prezentului, nu fără paradoxul tăriei și fragilității care ne însoțește viețile.
Primul solo-show al lui Iulian Cristea propune o neîncetată căutare in joacă a rădăcinilor și surselor, a abundenței de forme, culori, stări si idei ce hrănesc și asigura o creștere artistică bogată. Artistul nu caută o singura sursă de explorare, le caută pe toate: cuvinte, idei, experiențe, amintiri care sunt mixate la intersecția trecutului, prezentului și viitorului prin abstracțiuni, remixuri figurative și corpuri interstelare.
Cristea este într-o căutare constantă a celei mai puțin conștiente surse de inspirație, pendulând intuitiv între inarticulat și articulat, simetrie și asimetrie, plastic cald colorat îndrăzneț și piatră rece, metal si lemn, aspecte dure și ușoare, dinamic și static, opac și transparent, senzorial și intuitiv, văzut și nevăzut, sofisticat și brut, bizar și familiar, biomorfic și ortogonal, cerc și linie dreaptă, abstract și figurativ, natural și artificial.
In desen, sculptură și pictură, Iulian Cristea ia trecutul si îl transforma cu umor în prezent și viitor într-un dinamism versatil al planurilor ritmate. Maxima indiferență devine astfel la raison de créer a artistului. (Curator Diana Andrei)

ArtHalle Gallery has the great pleasure of inviting you to the OPENING of the solo show exhibition: UTMOST GOOD NEGLIGENCE, with works by Iulian CRISTEA at Budisteanu 10, 010774 Bucharest.
The opening will take place on February 7th, 2020 between 7 and 10 pm.
The artist will be present.
They say the only thing that doesn’t change is change. We might hold to the past, to rules, to people, to moments, to future plans or present dreams, but in fact, we swim through the layers of change, not without the paradox of strength and fragility that accompanies our lives.
Iulian Cristea’s first solo show proposes a playful continuous search of roots and resources, of the abundance of shapes, colours, moods and ideas that nurtures and provide a full artistic growth. The artist doesn’t want one source of exploration, but all of them: words, images, ideas, experiences, memories that are mixed at the intersection of past, present and future through abstractions, figurative remixes of the past or interstellar shapes.
Cristea is in a constant search of the least conscious source of inspiration and life, swinging intuitively between inarticulate and articulate, symmetry and asymmetry, the warm bold coloured plastic and the cold stone, metal or wood, wall hanging and pavement or ceiling montage, concrete and informal, hard and soft aspects, dynamic and static, opaque and transparent, sensory and intuitional, seen and hidden, sophisticated and rough, bizarre and familiar shapes, biomorphic and orthogonal, line and circle, abstract and figurative, natural and artificial.
In drawings, sculptures or paintings, Iulian Cristea takes the past and reinvents it playfully into the present or future in a versatile dynamism of planes that turns chaos into order. The utmost negligence (indifference to what has already been done) is his raison de créer.
*The utmost good faith” is the responsability of the buyer to give all the correct, exact and detailed characteristics of the object to sell. In case of Iulian Cristea’ s works, on the label, together with data like the year, the technique, the materials used for creating the art work, but what an artwork provides is much more than that.
