With the kind help of our partners, Reprezentanța Comisiei Europene în România, we invited PIET JASPAERT, board member of Europa Nostra, to open the Cultural Management Academy 2018 with the public keynote lecture ‘Cultural Heritage Matters’.
The event will take place at Sala Mare, ARCUB (Lipscani 84-90), on July 2nd, at 10 o’clock. // free entry

After an introduction by Dr Evelin Hust, director of the Goethe-Institute Bucharest, and Mihaela Păun, director of the Cultural Center ARCUB, Piet Jaspaert will speak about the intrinsic power of cultural heritage, the European Year of Cultural Heritage as an example of the lobby activity of Europa Nostra and he will present another important project of his organization: the EU Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards.

The second edition of the Cultural Management Academy 2018 will take place at Arcub, between 2-6 July. The program consists of a one-week intensive educational course on the topic of `Engaging with Heritage` in Bucharest. It includes lectures, seminars, discussions, debates and individual assignments given by Romanian and international professionals from the heritage sector, as well as an online education platform with individual and group assignments.
