You might know Margie as the voice behind the wonderful House of Music fanzine, but besides nifty turns of phrase the First Lady of Rush Hour also masters the art of musical storytelling. A passionate collector with an encyclopedic knowledge and insatiable curiosity, Margie graciously slips in and out of genres, weaving a complex narrative that goes from disco, boogie to reggae and obscure ’80s synth, held together by a deep love for groove.
Be it the tiny booth of Belgique, her Red Light Radio show or a stage at Dekmantel’s Lente Kabinet, she won’t fail to transport you to a new musical dimension.
Together with longtime friend and brief colleague Amber Amber, the lady behind the glamorous house parties Saint Hollywood at Control Club, these two are definitely gonna bring it.
