Christian Tudose precum un alchimist chestionează prin imaginile sale fotografice natura esenței umane. El imortalizează imagini cu iz renașcentist pe care apoi le reconstruiește prin creponare, arătând astfel fragilitatea noastră. Personajele sale androgine asemenea unor efigii ne dezvăluie de sub veșmintele și broboadele de cap expresii foarte puternice. Omul plămădit din lut primește urmele mediului său. Protejate de celofan, unele personaje fac trimitere mai mult la noțiunea de obiect, de marfă glam. La o privire mai atentă însă privitorul se poate oglindi în reflexia materiei lucioase, se poate identifica și astfel își conștientizează propria ființă. Toți suntem la fel în esența noastră omenească, departe de învelișul exterior.

Christian Tudose as an alchemist questions through his photographic images the essence of human nature. He immortalized images of Renaissance flavor which then reconstructs by folding them, thus showing our fragility. His androgynous like effigies characters, covered in garments and head pieces show us strong expressions. Man, molded from clay, gets the in-print of his environment. Protected by cellophane, some characters take more the notion of object, of merchandise glam. At a closer look, mirrored in the reflection of the shiny material, indentified with himself, the viewer gets aware of his own being. Away from the outer shell, we are all the same in our human essence.
