Compact Disc – ONDERONS06 [Onderons Records]

Belgian collective Onderons Records returns with their sixth release and are happy to welcome duo Compact Disc to the label. They deliver an original track alongside our first remixes on the label by Tweestrijd and Veebo.

The main title Uplift is a stripped-down groove driven by a recognizable percussive synth line, subtle bass pressure and carefully placed atmospheres. Minimal in elements, controlled in execution. Tweestrijd reshapes the original through layered percussion, stretched tension and spacious delay work. While Veebo takes the track into deeper territory with an extended dub version. Beginning in ambient textures before slowly unfolding into a hypnotic rhythmic flow guided by a restrained vocal presence.

Mastered by François “Kompo” Gelbgras.
