Manuel De Lorenzi, Paul Dc – Marynbow EP [Monday Morning Records]

Monday Morning Records returns with a raw, uncompromising statement of intent as co-founders Manuel De Lorenzi and Paul Dc join forces for “Marynbow” (MMR085), landing digitally on 29th May 2026. Rooted in a shared history that stretches back decades, the release captures the pair’s unmistakable chemistry, delivering three deep, gritty analogue rollers that channel an authentically old-school spirit while remaining firmly locked into contemporary dancefloors.

At the heart of this project is the long-standing creative partnership between Manuel De Lorenzi and Paul Dc, whose collaboration has been central to the identity of Monday Morning Records since its inception in 2013. Alongside close friend Sami, the trio also explored their sound under the alias Usual Things Around, building a catalogue of respected vinyl and digital releases that helped define their signature deep tech aesthetic.

“Marynbow” showcases that lineage with precision. The title track sets the tone with hypnotic grooves, rolling basslines, and subtle textures that evolve with patient intent. “I’m Sexy” follows with a stripped-back, funk-infused attitude, playful yet driving, with a rawness that nods to classic warehouse energy. Closing cut “Pump” delivers exactly what its name promises: a relentless, groove-led workout designed for peak time impact, driven by analogue warmth and tight rhythmic control.

Both artists bring a wealth of experience to the release. Manuel De Lorenzi’s journey from early experimentation in his hometown of Castelfidardo to international club residencies and a prolific discography is matched by Paul Dc’s deep-rooted passion for vinyl culture and his evolution through Italy’s underground scene. Together, their output reflects decades of dedication to craft, shaped by club culture, radio, and an unwavering commitment to sound.

With “Marynbow,” Monday Morning Records reinforces its core ethos: timeless grooves, authentic production, and a deep connection to the roots of house and minimal. This is not just a release; it is a reflection of a partnership, a label, and a sound that continues to evolve while staying true to its origins.
