Within the contemporary underground ecosystem, collaborative releases often represent a meeting point between different artistic identities. When producers approach minimal and micro-house through their own rhythmic sensibilities and sound design philosophies, the resulting record becomes more than a collection of tracks—it becomes a dialogue shaped by groove, texture and subtle sonic evolution.

UNAI, u z z v and Crăciun explore hypnotic minimal textures on “Your Time” for Solina

Solina brings together three producers for a refined minimal and micro-house release built on deep groove architecture, subtle sound design and immersive club functionality.

Independent labels continue to play a vital role in shaping the deeper side of contemporary club culture, particularly within the realms of minimal and micro-house. Among these emerging platforms, Solina, the London-based imprint connected to the creative ecosystem surrounding 12+1 London, has steadily developed a catalogue centred on hypnotic groove structures and refined sound design.

With “Your Time EP,” the label presents a collaborative release bringing together UNAI, u z z v, and Crăciun—three producers whose approaches to minimal house intersect through a shared focus on rhythm, atmosphere and sonic detail.

Released via Bandcamp and Beatport, the EP unfolds across three tracks—“Your Time,” “Back Back Back,” and “Break It Down.” Each composition reflects a slightly different interpretation of minimal and micro-house aesthetics while maintaining a cohesive sonic identity grounded in warm basslines, precise drum programming and spatial textures designed for extended DJ mixing.

Solina: A Platform for Modern Minimal

Operating from London, Solina has positioned itself as a label focused on groove-driven minimal house and deep tech aesthetics. The imprint’s releases consistently emphasise subtle rhythmic progression and immersive sound design, offering music tailored for DJs who value long transitions and hypnotic dancefloor energy.

Closely associated with 12+1 London, Solina has cultivated a network of producers whose work explores the deeper edges of underground club music, where rhythm and atmosphere take precedence over dramatic structural shifts.

Your Time EP reflects this philosophy, presenting a release built on sonic nuance and rhythmic precision.

The Artists

UNAI

UNAI plays a central role within the Solina ecosystem as both an artist and creative contributor to the label’s sonic direction. His productions are characterized by tight rhythmic frameworks, warm sub-bass structures and minimal melodic fragments, allowing grooves to evolve gradually through subtle variations.

u z z v

Producer u z z v approaches minimal house with a strong emphasis on percussive texture and spatial depth. His tracks often feature intricate drum programming and atmospheric elements that expand the stereo field while maintaining a focused rhythmic core.

Crăciun

Romanian artist Crăciun contributes a slightly deeper and more hypnotic perspective to the project. Known for crafting refined minimal grooves and immersive sonic environments, his productions frequently rely on restrained arrangements where micro-variations in rhythm and texture create movement over time.

Together, the three artists shape a collaborative release that balances groove functionality with detailed production craftsmanship.

Track-by-Track Analysis

Your Time

Opening the EP, “Your Time” establishes the record’s core aesthetic through a rolling minimal groove anchored by a deep kick drum and crisp hi-hat patterns.

A warm bassline drives the rhythm while filtered synth fragments appear gradually within the stereo field. The arrangement evolves through micro-rhythmic variations and subtle delay processing, maintaining a hypnotic flow throughout the track.

Technically, the production demonstrates excellent low-frequency control and transient clarity, ensuring a strong impact on club sound systems.

Back Back Back

With “Back Back Back,” the EP shifts toward a more playful micro-house direction. Syncopated percussion patterns and vocal fragments create a lively rhythmic interplay while maintaining a minimal framework.

The bassline remains tight and elastic, locking seamlessly with the kick drum. Atmospheric textures and subtle modulation effects expand the sonic environment, highlighting the producers’ ability to combine groove functionality with intricate sound design.

Break It Down

Closing the record, “Break It Down” explores a deeper and slightly more atmospheric territory.

The groove becomes more spacious, allowing airy synth layers and dub-influenced delay effects to shape the track’s sonic landscape. The composition relies heavily on negative space and evolving textures, creating an immersive atmosphere that works equally well for late-night DJ sets or introspective listening.

Production & Mastering

From a technical perspective, Your Time EP reflects a production approach centred on clarity, groove precision and spatial depth.

Key elements include:

  • tight minimal drum programming
  • carefully sculpted sub-bass frequencies
  • subtle delay and modulation effects
  • wide stereo imaging
  • arrangements optimised for long DJ transitions

The mastering maintains dynamic balance while preserving punch and definition across the frequency spectrum, allowing the tracks to translate effectively across both headphones and club sound systems.

Artwork

The artwork adopts a minimalist visual language consistent with underground electronic releases. Abstract graphics and restrained design elements complement the hypnotic character of the music while reinforcing Solina’s refined aesthetic identity.

This visual approach mirrors the sonic philosophy of the record: subtle, immersive and groove-driven.

Final Thoughts

With Your Time EP, UNAI, u z z v, and Crăciun present a collaborative exploration of modern minimal and micro-house aesthetics.

Supported by the curatorial vision of Solina, the release demonstrates how multiple artistic perspectives can converge into a cohesive club-oriented record where groove, texture and subtle sonic evolution take centre stage.

For DJs and listeners drawn to deep minimal grooves and refined production techniques, Your Time EP offers a compelling addition to the contemporary underground landscape.
