Daniel Meister – Euphoria EP (w. Chris Llopis remix) [Dubøka Records]

British label Dubøka Records announces a fresh addition to its vinyl series featuring Hungarian artist Daniel Meister at the controls alongside Swedish veteran Chris Llopis on remix duties. Pressed on 140g marble vinyl in a limited number of copies with no repress planned, “Euphoria EP” provides four dancefloor-ready tracks, delivering a sound that is raw, hypnotic and unapologetically groovy.

Hailing from Budapest, Daniel Meister has spent over a decade shaping his distinctive sound and becoming a key figure within the international underground scene. His music sits at the intersection of minimal, microhouse and deep tech, combining refined rhythmic precision with organic textures that are always making waves when heard across European dancefloors. Throughout his career, he released his productions via labels such as Weird, Be Color Music, Samani, Hossh Records, Play Groove LTD, Fantastic Friends Recordings, Inermu Wax, Moonrover Records, Tzinah, Purple Print and Sounds of Sirius, among others.

Based in Birmingham, Dubøka Records is focused on bringing forward the deeper shades of minimal techno, microhouse and tech-house. The imprint has steadily built a worldwide reputation through a mix of vinyl and digital releases, memorable podcasts and showcase events, as well as inspiring collaborations with emerging and established artists such as Silat Beksi, Goras, Adnan (DE), Mihai Pol, Bryz, Vincent Casanova, Lizz, Ray Mono, Lewale, Josh Guest, Daniel Broesecke, Majhu, Direkt, Cojoc, WHYT and Paradoxal, to name a few.

The three originals, “Euphoria”, “Maintime” and “Overhead”, are strongly connected by a deep, rolling groove that consistently permeates throughout the record, while each cut reveals its own subtle nuances and character. Built on steady, forward-moving percussion, driving basslines and finely layered background modulations, the tracks gradually unfold into hypnotic, immersive journeys. The carefully crafted arrangements and evolving textures create a fluid, energetic momentum designed to resonate during peak-time moments on the dancefloor, balancing raw power with a refined sense of rhythm.

On the remix, Chris Llopis reimagines B1 into a late-night weapon, stretching the groove and injecting a distinctive warmth and swing into the original mix. The result is a deeper, more spacious interpretation that maintains the hypnotic core while adding a subtly playful touch perfect for the afterhours.
