Originally released in 2019 as a vinyl-only pressing, Similar Feelings marked the second chapter in the feeder sound catalogue and quickly proved its impact. Following the success of the first release (Suflet Prezent by Dragutesku, which sold out fast), Piktor’s 12” also disappeared rapidly from record store shelves, becoming a sought-after title among selectors and collectors. There are a few records available on Discogs, but the prices are a bit high, ranging from 30 to 200 euros. 🙂

Curated and released by feeder sound (FSRO002), Similar Feelings presents three deep, hypnotic tracks built around eerie atmospheres, organic grooves and long-form arrangements designed for immersive dancefloor moments. From the uplifting pulse of the title track to the abstract minimalism of The Night Before, the release culminates with the 11-minute journey The Gift That Keeps on Giving, a slow-burner that has since earned its place in DJ sets worldwide.

A clear sign of its lasting resonance came when Janeret selected “The Gift That Keeps on Giving” for the opening of his Yoyaku Quarantine Session, reaffirming the EP’s timeless, forward-thinking sound and relevance beyond its original vinyl format.

Now available digitally, Similar Feelings opens a new chapter for listeners who missed the original pressing—offering global access to a release that reflects feeder.ro’s long-standing mission: connecting local electronic artists with an international, curious audience.
