Well-known for his underground stories, Romanian artist Andu Simion returns with a fresh release on the DRG Limited series, a versatile EP crafted to surprise and keep the crowd moving. The mastering is signed by Dragutesku at DRG Mastering, and the artwork by Trik at G90 Production Studio.

It looks like Andu has been on a creative streak this year, releasing a string of projects that dive deep into the essence of electronic music. His recent works include “Code Shot EP” on Moods & Grooves, the self-released “Lost and Found – Episode 1“, and “Terrific EP“ on Howl Records, where he introduces his new collaboration, Timbral Shift with Vlad Arapasu. He also dropped the B2B project “Acid Poles EP“ with Unisson on UNS Records, along with a remix for Tobias Laun’s “Atlantis EP” on Tzinah Records.

“Medusa Patch was born during a winter studio session. Coffee on the table, machines switched on, it evolved into a deep breakbeat blend marked by dense rhythmic patterns and glitch-infused textures. It captures both the casual spontaneity of the moment and the raw focus of hands-on experimentation.” – Andu Simion

“Captain Caveman EP” delivers four distinct tracks, each with its own identity. From the sunny breaks of our featured track “Medusa Patch” and the textured, glitched sounds of “Glitchy Apology”, to “Symmetric VII” which can take any dancefloor by storm and the title track “Captain Caveman” that blends driving rhythms with a mystical melodic touch, the whole journey explores the intricacies of minimal music while being imfused with groovy arrangements meant to inspire.

Andu Simion’s EP is announced to arrive on DRG Limited’s official Bandcamp page on October 25th.
