David Delgado – EZ PC EP [YKW]

US-based record label YKW (You Know What) presents its third vinyl release signed by David Delgado in collaboration with Samuel Appapoulay and Tripmastaz, who also provides the mastering under his Tripmastering alias. The artwork is signed by Alix Lomas.

YKW started as one of the most prolific underground party brands in Los Angeles, hosting numerous events headed by local and international artists with a passion for minimal techno and microhouse. Curated by Enzo Muro, the venture made its debut as a record label in 2023 with the release of Naf Naf’s “Fara Zahar EP” (Funk E & Narcis), followed by Ohm Hourani’s “Herbs Miles EP” in 2024. Earlier this year, the project expanded into the digital realm, marking a new chapter in the imprint’s ongoing sonic journey.

Born in Colombia and now based in Berlin, David Delgado has confidently established himself as a talented DJ and producer, with regular appearances at venues like Sisyphos, Kater Blau, Tresor, Panorama Bar and Club der Visionaere, where he hosts his marathon Meltdown nights alongside friends and artists who share the same vision on electronic music. Among the labels he published his music with, we find Les Enfants Terribles, Tanny, Pleasure Zone, GHI, Kiara Records, Inermu Wax, Watermelon Music, Moan, Highgrade and Tip Tap Records.

On Side A we find the original version of “EZ PC”, featuring the acclaimed Mauritian-born pianist, singer and producer Samuel Appapoulay. The composition dives deep into minimal while receiving a solid dose of funk, jazz and abstract influences, delivering an immersive yet uplifting experience.

On the flip, Tripmastaz Enterprises drops his “Win 10 Choco Shroom Remix”, adding a distinct touch to the title track, as crisp percussion patterns, wobbling basslines and trippy effects come into play to form a whole new sonic affair designed for the dancefloor.
