Rooted in Chile’s electronic music landscape and based in New Zealand, the independent record label Sounds of Sirius celebrates “The Tenth Transmission” with an inspiring Various Artists compilation featuring Akela (Angel Mosteiro & Joel Vazquez), Daniel Meister, Isaac Denny & Herman Saiz and Lukea. The mastering is signed by Rob Small Mastering.

Carefully curated by Herman Saiz, Sounds of Sirius launched its main vinyl series in 2022, while a second venture titled Sirius B was detected in 2024. Among the artists involved in relaying those deep space transmissions, we find Guy From Downstairs, Denis Kaznacheev, Silat Beksi, Etro Hahn, Mihai Pol, Last Pines, Nibaaldo, Enzo Leep, Venda, Swoy, Santi, Giorgio Robles, Jay Tripwire and Albert Azar.

Side A opens with Akela‘s “Ritual 33”, a rolling hypnotic piece designed with swinging percussion patterns, a prominent bassline and ever-evolving background atmospheres. Following, “Village Madonna” by Daniel Meister unfolds as a deep, stripped-down composition that explores minimal techno as it smoothly blends with subtle progressive elements, taking the sonic journey further into deep space.

On the flip, we first find rising New Zealand talent Isaac Denny teaming up with label founder Herman Saiz on a track that blends raw expression with a refined touch. “Echoform” lays out an uplifting rhythm mixed with dub and psychedelic influences, perfect for immersive moments on the dancefloor. Closing, Lukea dispatches “Orchis Mascula”, a steady-paced cut powered by driving beats, wobbling basslines, spatial pads and carefully placed breathing moments that build tension.
