Starting his creative journey in January 2020 under the alias Enigmatiq, Romanian artist Mihai-Andrei Ciupitu explores various styles of electronic music, drawing inspiration by looking inwards and outwards. Guided by the 10.000 Hours rule, he seeks to capture reality and translate it through quantised, technical intricacies.

Fusing influences from genres like trance, acid house, tech house, minimal and breaks into a cohesive experiment, AcidInflexions01 delivers 10 tracks recorded over five years between Romania and London that elegantly balance raw energy with moments of tension and release. From dense acid landscapes to melodic interplay and shadowy modulation, each track explores a different mood through driving rhythms, intricate sound design and a touch of psychedelia.

Designed for late-night and deep-listening sonic journeys, AcidInflexions01 seamlessly guides the listener through hypnotic grooves, flowing with intent and intensity. Our exclusive premiere for today, “Dither Options”, dives deep into minimal, laying out a swinging stripped-down cut fueled by crisp drumming patterns that smoothly merge with phased background chords and spiralling effects that slowly evolve into a pulsating composition.
