Polish DJ, producer, event curator and Kooky Music‘s label head Gogan returns to his Bandcamp page with an immersive 2-tracker titled “Give Me Your Soul” EP, exploring the darker and experimental aspects of minimal techno. The mastering is provided by Manmade Mastering studio in Berlin, while the artwork is signed by Zuza Pietruszewska.

Based in Wroclaw, Gogan has been at the forefront of Poland’s electronic music scene for quite some time now, consistently entertaining crowds when he’s behind the decks or releasing amazing productions in both vinyl and digital formats. In 2020, he launched Kooky Music, showcasing his works and featuring artists like Floog, Iuly.B, Schrill, Jurek Przezdziecki, RQZ and Minube in the imprint’s vinyl catalogue, while the digital side includes titles from Oskar Szafraniec, Smoke Sykes, Gary Holldman, Paar & Model 68. There’s also a podcast series in the game, with 35+ sessions posted online.

Aside from his venture, he also collaborated with labels like TuneCore, BP Digital, Audiophile Deep, Piston, Kaleydo, Boom Zwapp, Frucht, Psicodelica, Conceptual, Eat and Beat, Swerve, Luzztro and Whoyostro Ltd, to name a few.

The EP opens with its title track, “Give Me Your Soul”, immediately establishing a mysterious atmosphere as the first drum patterns break through. From there, the listener is pulled into an intense, intricate progression, where warped effects and rich breakdowns shift seamlessly between layers, creating a swinging, hypnotic depth while steadily building tension.

The second track, “Bird”, is introduced by fluttering hi-hats, eerie background textures and spiralling psychedelic arrangements that steadily evolve, pulling you deeper with every layer. As the track unfolds, it blurs the line between rhythm and atmosphere, leaving you suspended in a space where movement and immersion become inseparable.
