Born on the banks of the Elbe and carried to the Seine, “Late Night Swim” reunites Wareika and dOP in a deep and timeless flow. Henrik Raabe, Florian Schirmacher and Jakob Seidensticker, aka Wareika, three alchemists of sound who weave jazz, dub and house into a current that makes the invisible tangible, meet Damien Vandesande and Jonathan Illel, aka dOP, who join the stream with electrifying vocals, creating music that floats between dream and reality while turning friendship into sound.

This inspiring collaboration between the five artists delivers the single’s original version powered by fine-tuned minimal house drumming patterns, wobbling synths, subtle deep house textures and leftfield influences that elegantly blend with weaving vocal layers into a nocturnal sonic journey full of groove and emotion.

Each river has its tributaries, and so three remixes carry the stream into new directions. Lee Curtiss from Detroit brings playful sensuality, Crihan from Bucharest shapes intricate and hypnotic movements, and HCHx from Jena lay out waves of reflective rhythms that merge into one vast current. And just as all rivers eventually meet the sea, “Late Night Swim” invites you to surrender to the flow.

True to its name, Live at Robert Johnson is the associated label of the revered Offenbach club, channelling the spirit and aesthetic of the venue into sonic delights. Since 2009, the imprint has been a cornerstone of the new Frankfurt sound, steadily shaping a distinct identity while reaching far beyond its local roots. With releases from internationally celebrated artists, LARJ has curated an extended catalogue of essential tracks, making the venture an ever-reliable source of refined, high-quality modern electronic music for DJs and clubbers alike.

Well-known for blending minimal techno and microhouse with hypnotic precision, Romanian DJ, producer and Mezin’s label head Crihan delivers a spiralling reinterpretation that unfolds like a river delta, intricate, layered and always in motion. Redesigned with minimal aesthetics, the core rhythm expands into a swinging late-night delight perfect for dimly lit dancefloors.

With a discography that spans numerous titles published under his name or appearing as Discret Popescu, Modest Ionescu, or Yosemite Sam on Playedby‘s Tooney Lunes series, Crihan always delivers the vibes, whether we talk about his releases or each memorable performance he delivers from behind the decks around the world. Aside from the EPs dispatched through his playground Mezin, over time he brought forward his 2×12″ LP “Autostrada Soarelui” via UVAR, collectable vinyl cuts on labels like Naural, Ultrastretch, truelovesounds, Catren, More Than Music (split EP w. Arapu), Elements., twelve.to.zero, Haze and Windmühle, as well as numerous remixes and independent digital releases on Bandcamp.

Hailing from Detroit, Lee Curtiss brings a playful and sensual sound to the table, taking the original to the club by adding vibrant layers and twisted effects. As one of the founders of Visionquest, he constantly shaped the electronic music landscape by publishing timeless releases from renowned producers, while as an artist, he brought forward some of his own work via labels like Spectral, Get Physical and Wolf + Lamb.

Emerging from Jena, HCHx are four sonic voyagers shaped by the Saale’s flow into the Elbe. Their sound navigates the terrain between house and experimental textures, or propulsive and ethereal, driven by the interplay of pulse and pause, light and shadow. Their progressive remix unfolds like waves that rise and recede, converging into a boundless current where time and space dissolve.
